A Procuradoria Regional Eleitoral (PRE) encaminhou ao Tribunal Regional Eleitoral de Sergipe (TRE/SE), nesta sexta-feira, 18 de dezembro, denúncia criminal contra o deputado estadual André Moura, por compra de votos. Segundo a denúncia assinada pelo procurador Regional Eleitoral Paulo Gustavo Guedes Fontes, a compra de votos foi constatada quando da apreensão de um veículo em 29 de setembro de 2006, em frente ao colégio Graccho Cardoso, dentro do qual a Polícia Federal encontrou material de campanha do candidato e a quantia em espécie de 146 mil reais.
No colégio, havia grande concentração de pessoas carentes, contempladas por um programa social de incentivo à prática de esportes. Para a PRE, o dinheiro seria entregue aos presentes. "Os documentos apreendidos, como listas de eleitores, demonstram que a compra de votos já vinha acontecendo", destaca o procurador Paulo Guedes.
Foram denunciados também o ex-secretário de Estado Ariosvaldo Leite e o servidor Sidnei Junior Pasqualino.
Até aqui a PRE havia entrado com ações cíveis-eleitorais, objetivando cassar o mandato do deputado. A presente iniciativa possui natureza criminal e sujeita os acionados à pena de um a quatro anos de reclusão. O procurador Regional Eleitoral propõe que o dinheiro apreendido seja revertido, em sua totalidade, para entidades beneficentes, vedada qualquer promoção pessoal e eleitoral dos denunciados.
